This is an extreme example of a custom cut gasket. A CAD DWG file was used to provide the necessary cutting file for the laser but we can use any Vector Line Drawing with a red line that's .0001 thick for laser cutting.
This
shows a stencil cut from sheet Mylar. Note that text and shapes must be created with areas that connect to the sheet at several areas or areas such as those found in the letters; O, Q P D & B will drop out and be missing in the final stencil.
Create a plaque for a Special Activity or Special Occasion such as; retirement, birth announcement, wedding announcement, poem or just something special for... fill in the blank! We say "You are only limited by your own imagination!"
This is an example of a photograph taken with a digital camera and then laser engrave in to a 5" X 7" wood plaque. The higher the resolution of the file is, the larger the engraved photograph can be laser engraved, much the same as having an enlargement made of a photograph. The better the quality of the photograph, the better the engraved image will be. Laser engraving will NOT improve a poor picture!

This is an example of an 8" X 10" photograph taken by a professional photographer. The print was scanned in and then laser engraved in to an 8" X 10" plaque. The quality of the original image is very important when laser engraving a photograph.

The original image used here was an 8" X 10" Black & White photograph. The print was scanned in and then laser engraved in to a 11" X 14" plaque. The original photograph had a good contrast range with detail in both the highlight and shadow areas and good contrast between the main subject and background so the main subject did not blend in to the background, a common problem.

This picture was produced from a slide. A paper print was made from the slide and then scanned in and laser engraved in to an 8" X 10" plaque. The original exposure was important to producing a good engraved photograph.

This is a panoramic image that was taken with a digital camera with a panoramic setting and software that was used to stick together 4 images. The resulting file was then laser engraved in to a 3/4" X 7 1/8" X 24" Pine board.

This shows a photograph that has been laser engraved in to a piece of leather. Laser engraving darkens the leather and as such shows up better on lighter colors of leather. When choosing the color of the leather it is also important to consider the subject... people don't look so good with green or orange as an example.
This shows a piece of leather that has been cut in to the shape of The State of Connecticut with text and a photograph of the Bonsai tree that became our logo. The light color of the leather provides good contrast with the engraving.
This is a sample board showing different types of leather that have been laser engraved using text, clip art and a photograph. Notice that the laser engraving shows up the best on the lighter shades of leather as the engraving darkens the leather in the engraved area.
You can personalize may types of items. Here is an example of a leather key fob that has been engraved with both text and clip art. The light tan color shows off the engraving nicely. A darker color leather would produce a much more subtle result.
This laser engraved Pen with our company name. The larger the diameter of the pen is the larger the engraved area in height can be. This pen was color filled with a gold colored Cream Stencil Paint. Darker woods my require color filling to provide contrast for the engraved area as can be seen it this Bocote-Wood pen.
This sample shows a wood door and door knob that have been laser engraved with the same piece of clip art. The clip art was scaled down for the knob. Notice that the engraving show nicely on the light colored wood. On darker types of wood, color filling may be necessary so the engraving shows well. The same Clip Art image was used on the Switch Plates below.
This picture shows a wood and plastic switch plate that have been laser engraved with clip art, the same clip art used on the wood door and knob above... do I see a theme here? Hmmmmm....
This wood door pull has been laser engraved with clip art of a running vine. On a narrow piece like this the engraving must fit on the width or it will wash over the edge and distort the image.
This glass jar has been laser engraved with text. Care must be taken when choosing what is to be engraved on to glass. Text and line type art work the best. Photographs just don't work as photographs are made up of a range of tones where glass is either clear or frost colored. Our laser will not work on leaded glass as our laser does not work with metals.
Here are examples of laser cut shapes in wood. Many other materials may be cut as well as wood, including; many fabrics, fiber glass, leather,Plexiglass, mat board, melamine, nylon, plastic, veneer, vinyl, wood and more. Many of the materials may also have the surface laser engraved to further decorate the piece.
This is an example of wood laser cut in the shape of a cross. This same design may be cut exactly the same many times. The same image could be scaled down and cut to produce a matching necklace and earring set... Hmmmmm.
Didn't get A Round TUIT (A-Round-To it), well this custom cut and engraved TUIT can be further customized on the other side with your own saying, Logo or company information.! At about 1" in diameter it's surprising how much information can actually be engraved. A real attention getter, a nice ice breaker and just plain fun! We will be happy to work with you on your own custom TUIT or other toke projects.
This piece of white marble has a photograph laser engraved in to it. The engraved areas have been fill with black dye as marble (and most other types of stone) comes out white in the laser engraved areas. The photograph was cropped to fit on to the round shape of the Marble.
This black Marble paper weight has been laser engraved with text. The marble turns white when engraved and requires no color fill or dye. Photographs look rather stunning on black marble but work the best on solid black Marble rather than gray tones or with streaks of lighter areas in the Marble.
